CHADD Lecture 2005

 DO NOT MISS THIS:

Children & Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
CHADD of NEW YORK CITY

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2005
***Dyslexia and AD/HD: A Common Combination***

Dyslexia is not commonly understood. When it is, there are many
similarities with ADHD. Also, many people with ADHD also suffer
from Dyslexia.

Here is an opportunity to learn the differences and similarities
in symptoms and treatment. How does ADD & Dyslexia overlap? Where
do they differ?

We will have two professionals discussing how to best work with and
help remediate when either one or both are present.

SPEAKERS:
Judith Schwarcz, an expert in both dyslexia and ADHD, runs a parent
support group in Israel and practices both in Israel and the United
States.

Hadar Lily Hellman works with people with dyslexia in Manhattan
at Art of Learning, and is trained as a Davis Dyslexia Correction
Facilitator.
