The Davis method used in 29 countries around the world, and has been used in Israel for the past 12 years with great success.

The Davis Dyslexia Correction Program

In 1995, Davis founded the international Davis Dyslexia Association, whose aim is workshops to train facilitators in his method. It is now active in 19 countries.

The Davis method was developed from Ronald Davis’ own difficulties as a dyslexic person.

Davis Orientation Counseling (focus) and Davis Symbol Mastery are clear methods and learning tools that use imagination, creativity and mental stability. These exercises absolutely do not cure dyslexia, various learning disabilities or any physical or mental condition, but rather provide learning and coping skills. This method focuses on individual work of a facilitator with a student to provide a basis and tools for handling dyslexia physically, spiritually and mentally.

This is an intensive workshop of 5 consecutive days (about 6 hours per day).

This 5-day Correction Program

  • A personal meeting where the student is diagnosed in order to match the work method to the student.
  • Providing tools for correcting dyslexia in reading, reading comprehension, writing or mathematics.
  • A significant change in learning skills while improving coordination (dyspraxia).
  • Training the student’s relatives, friends or instructors to provide continued support using the Davis method.
  • Three follow-up meetings.
  • Unlimited telephone counseling.

It is recommended and very important to read the book The Gift of Dyslexia by Ronald D. Davis – a book also suitable for dyslexics who have trouble reading. It is available in Steimatzky bookstores (in 12 languages including Hebrew ,English), or at the Dyslexia Correction Center 09-7729888.

We are at your service to give information and answer any questions.
