Dear Judith:

December 16, 2013

How does one express gratitude for rescuing their child?  My son, Nathan, is a very bright child, but this past school year he was falling farther and farther behind his classmates’ reading abilities.  At eight-years-old, Nathan was well aware of his reading problems.  This put him under pressure and started affecting his confidence, which snowballed into further reading problems.  The cycle was heading down a dangerous path that could have been filled with years of frustration and stress.  Then we were lucky enough to find you and the Davis program.

I must admit that in the beginning of the weeklong program, I was quite skeptical.  We had been researching several longer-term reading-intensive programs, so the prospect of making any significant progress with some clay in a week seemed too good to be true.  Hearing the passion in your voice (and some coaxing from my wife); however, convinced me to give you a chance.  It was the best decision I could have made.

By the third day of the program, Nathan had tripled his reading speed, greatly improved his comprehension, and was actually enjoying reading.  By the fifth day, his reading speed and comprehension had easily improved by two whole grade levels.  The extent of concrete and measurable goals achieved in this one-week program far surpassed my expectations.

Our experience this summer was a life-changing milestone that will affect the rest of our life.  It truly rescued our child and I can’t thank you enough.  Please feel free to refer other prospects to me as a reference if I can help rescue other kids like you rescued my son, Nathan.

Very sincerely,

Omer C. Eyal, JD
