11 years old
My daughter, Hagar, is twelve years old and studies in the fifth grade – an advancing class, and studies a few subjects in a normal class.
From a very early age she was treated by: occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychologist, motion therapy and privately we also did exercises by Rami Pely (a psychologist with a treatment method. At an early age, and in kindergarten and first grade, Hagar was in an advancing class.
Despite all this, my daughter was unable to learn how to read, using any sort of method. She was unable to read fluently, and her writing was very unstructured.
Fortunately, I heard of Judith and came to her, after hearing a lecture by Mr. Davis, reading his book, and deciding to try something else for my daughter.
After the first week, my daughter could read better and her writing was improved, compared with her earlier writing. Of course, we are continuing to work with this method at home, and we sometimes meet with Judith.
At first, my daughter still had trouble with reading comprehension. Now her reading is improving every day. She has started to understand what she is reading!
Judith saw the potential in her from the beginning, something which, unfortunately, the school still does not see.
Thanks to Judith’s patience and never giving up, my daughter has learned the ABC. Before that, she could only recite the poem ABCD, without understanding each letter. Now Hagar has started reading in English. It is still a long way to fluent reading, but we do not give up hope, thanks to Judith, who pushes Hagar and believes in her and her abilities.
